Make sure that the products or services being sold are legitimate stand alone products. Products that would sell themselves if on a shelf in a store. Most network marketing and direct sales companies out there are built around the compensation plan and NOT a stand alone product.
If what you are marketing is NOT a stand alone product, you will have a hard time building residual income and a stable business as most people will not be able to duplicate what you are doing. Beside who doesn't want to be proud of what they're selling. There are enough legitimate companies marketing legitimate products out there. Find one that feels right to you!
Finally, Make sure that you have adequate training and support, make sure you have direct access to people with the results you desire to have.
Its about mindset folks. People who are wealthy, happy, in control of their futures and providing their families with the lifestyles of their dreams are doing so because they made a decision. A decision that had different results. They waded through fear and skepticism and arrive at a conclusion. They decide they will do what it takes to have success and they do not let anything get in their way.

I found this to be an insightful self diagnostic into our views on money. It seems to point to the why. Spending time each day envisioning the life we truly desire is one of the most productive ways to bring it about.
Simply wanting more money won't do diddly as far as securing more wealth. Maybe your in the wrong game. Not everone truly desires to be financially independant you know. When you ask the question, " would you like to have more money?", many people think of a couple thousand dollars in their bank account.
Play the tape through. Develope a simple system of handling that money. See the money going where it will go. See yourself acquiring the things you truley desire. Feel the anxiety leave, then feel the peace and confidance that comes with financial security. Getting the Picture? Get the Picture, find the right money making vehicle, get the picture,get the picture, do the income producing activity, get the picture, and repeat.
What Will REALLY Inspire People to Look at Your Solutions?
You've often heard me say that the main cause of objections and rejection is telling your story or presenting your solutions too early. I've noticed that many network marketers typically fall into this trap when the person they're speaking with says something like... "I wish I had more money!"
That's usually a cue to rush in and present a solution. Unfortunately, the result is usually indifference at best, and objections and rejection all too often.
Why would this be? After all, it seems pretty clear that the other person has a need! The problem is that the real need is not being addressed.
Wanting more money is what I call an "Outer Logical Need". It's just a fact. The problem is that facts on their own have very little power to internally inspire people to change. So if you immediately respond to this logical fact, you’ll meet resistance 99 times out of 100.
You can see why it’s called a numbers game.
I prefer to call it a lottery!
What will really motivate someone to change are the deeper emotional reasons that lie behind the factual statements. And it's these emotional needs that you must uncover and allow the other person to talk about.
So, how do you do that? Well, by asking the right kinds of questions!

What you're doing is asking the questions that the other person would have asked themselves if they had known what to ask before getting stuck in their present situation! And by doing so, you're uncovering their real needs.
So before rushing in to present your solutions in the form of your products or business opportunity, understand their present situation and how they feel about it. It will help them inspire themselves to make a change as they feel the discomfort of their present circumstances as they listen to themselves answer.
Remember, people make decisions based mostly on feelings, not on logic.
